The call of Isaiah, the Prince of the Prophets, is recorded in detail in Isaiah 6:1-13. The first five chapters of the Book of Isaiah appear to be sermons that he preached prior to actually being called to his prophetic office.

This is a study of one way God called a prophet and will be divided into four units: the call of the prophet, the cleansing of the prophet, the commissioning of the prophet, and the judgment of the people.
